This custom Heartbreak Kid-inspired jacket and pants set is a tribute to the bold and flashy style of wrestling legend Shawn Michaels. The Design Process

Every custom costume starts with extensive research, and this project was no exception. We carefully studied Shawn Michaels' iconic looks from his wrestling days, ensuring that each detail would echo his bold, heart-themed style. The jacket features a red-and-black striped lining, bold heart accents on the chest, and a cascading heart pattern to create dynamic movement. The pants complement this with zebra-print heart details, adding texture and visual interest to complete the ensemble.

Materials and Construction

The Heartbreak Kid jacket is all about eye-catching details. We selected a durable white fabric as the base to give structure to the jacket, creating a contrast with the striking red, black, and heart embellishments. Chains drape from shoulder to hem, adding an edgy, rockstar feel and nodding to HBK’s rebellious persona.

The pants were designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, using a softer material to allow for movement. Zebra-patterned hearts were carefully stitched onto the fabric to ensure durability, while maintaining a playful, high-energy aesthetic.

Custom Graphic and Final Touches

No Heartbreak Kid costume would be complete without a bold graphic. For this project, we designed a custom back graphic featuring a large red heart with a golden crown and the banner “Da Turn Up King,” tailored specifically for our client. While inspired by Shawn Michaels, this custom twist adds a unique, personalized flair.
